PJLP photography produces stylish family albums and framed photographs that capture the character of your cherished ones. The essence of PJLP is to produce beautiful portraits with their inspiration taken from Fine Art practice.
Location portraiture is about capturing an individual at their best, reflected in a moment where they are just being themselves. These treasured times can be when families are together in an environment where they are comfortable- perhaps at the beach, stomping through Autumn leaves or curled up by the fire indoors.
Philippa is inspired by the creative work of Joel Meyerowitz, William Eggleston and Annie Leibovitz. Her portraits capture the essence of the individual, creating elegant compositions. Philippa loves low light situations and specializes in photographing portraits using natural light. PJLP’s working methodology is to observe closely and work with enthusiasm and patience.
With a young family of her own Philippa understands that it is the children who often set the pace and so she works confidently and enthusiastically with their energy to capture their special qualities.
Philippa loves to photograph newborn babies in their home where they are comfortable and secure in their routine and environment and where you know you have everything you need to hand.
The studio and gardens are available as an alternative to you selecting a location, here you will find a comfortable and welcoming place where small children are invited to play, investigate the gardens and have fun whilst you relax and drink coffee!
You can also be assured of a high degree of professionalism and integrity with Philippa and her team holding Enhanced Disclosure Status with the Criminal Records Bureau offering you and your family peace of mind.
Portrait prices start from £45 each with reprints available from £20. Alternatively you can have your family photographs presented in an album or choose to own your professionally finished copyright released photographs on disc. Part payment is available for all orders over £250.
Wall art is available so you may enjoy your family photographs presented on large canvases or contemporary Perspex mounts.
